Please Help me turn my CPU fan on all the time, Bios doesn't have that optoin.

Hi All,

so the DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D Bios settings for the CPU fan give you an optoin to turn it on when the CPU reaches 25C or higher. There doesn't seem to be an option to have it on all the time.

Is there some program I could use?

As it stands right now, every few seconds the fan turns on then off because my CPU idles around 25C. I figure that can't be good for the life of my fan.

Humm, I figured having a fan turn on and off every few seconds wouldn't be good for it, better all on or all off.

Either way though, I'd really like ot find a way to keep in on all the time.

How low will the bios allow you to set the fan on CPU temp? If you can set it to 20C or 15C it will likely stay on all the time. Do you have Cool&Quiet disabled?
 
yes, cool and quiet is disabled, it's currently overclocked.

the lowest CPU temp the bios will go is 25C 🙁
 
Unplug the fan from the mobo header and plug it into a molex from the PS, problem solved. You will need a molex to three pin adapter
