Please help me...... problem with my 6800!

Well, I have had my 6800 for almost a month now. It has given me this problem since I first got it. The pipes ARE NOT UNLOCKED and the VERTEX SHADER IS NOT EITHER. Both of them WILL unlock though. Well, after an hour of doing intense 3d graphics all of the sudden my monitor will lose signal and I guess my computer freezes (sound stops). I just turn it off and on and it is usually fine until I play another 3d app for a long time. Sometimes though, I have to reseat the card in order to get into windows. If I don't, my monitor will loose signal and I will not be able to boot into it! Is my card causing the problem? I mean I had a 9800 pro before this and I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH IT ONCE!!!! IS there anything I should try to maybe fix it?

So far I have installed numerous drivers, different molex connectors, and reseating the card. Thank youfor your help 🙂
 
I would just RMA it. BFG has a lifetime warranty on their cards and they have 24/7 tech support. Call them up.
 
What is the case temperature.

Install RivaTuner and set it up to log temperatures. Next time you have a crash, open the log and see how high the temperatures went.
