Guys,

I'm building a new system with the IS7 and 2.4C, and i'm going to OC it...I'm getting the SLK-900, and now I need a case that will allow good airflow, and will not sound like a jet cause I have to sleep in the same room as the comp and I usually don't turn it off. I'm not looking to spend lots of money, although I have one case in mind....call me shallow, but I just like it's looks :)

It's a little more than I'd like to spend, but I figure this one comes with the PSU and the fans and all that other stuff....how good is it? Anything you guys can recommend that is better for OCing/cheaper? My main concern is how well this thing will vent, and it looks like it's packin' fans...

yeah the xaser 3's are pretty good. they are awefully expensive though. look around newegg. i am sure you could find something just as good or almost as good for less money.

the Xaser weight a ton! and for the money it isnt worth since for another $50 you can get a Koolance case with water cooling.

i got this case. light weight, affordable, and holds 6 fans

It has 120mm intake and exhaust so it moves a ton of air and it's quiet. You could easily put a fanbus in there to slow the 120's down when you want it at it's quietest and then crank it up when you need it. I modded my case to add 2 120's and even at their lowest speed, they keep the case pretty cool. I can crank them up to full speed easily for lan parties. At home, I never have them on anything but the slowest speed. The 120mm fans are also a lot less whiny than an 80 mm fan.

I agree with Redwolf. A case with 120mm intake and exhaust will move the most air and have the least noise. There is a thread a bit down the page here listing cases with 120mm fans.
