Hi

I have a E8500 on a Asus P5E3 Deluxe mobo. 4 x 1GB (4GB) OCZ DDR3 PC3-10666 / 1333MHz / Platinum Edition. 350GB HD, 850w PSU Vista 64. Antec 900 case with 5 fans.

The superb article on overclocking this board - http://www.anandtech.com/showdoc.aspx?i=3156&p=4 is very good but I would welcome advice to adapt to match my system detailed above.

Thanks for any advice

You might have a hard time with stability using all four DIMM slots..Maybe first consider getting 2x2gb sticks. To get a simple OC for now..just go into the BIOS and change the thing where it says "FSB" from what ever the stock speed is..to about 25mhz higher. Restart your system and see if it boots. Let it burn in over night and keep doing this. As you keep increasing by 25Mhz..you might need to change the Vram possibly and Vcc Vnb..etc to slightly higher values. Use orthos and prime95 to test for stability. Make sure you are using an after market cooler..the stock intel fan won't do the trick once you start getting more aggressive with your OC
