Please HELP ME (Newbie networker) make it work!!!

Just finished the wiring for LAN through Linksys 4-port router. 3 machines, all with 98SE, all OK accesing cable internet connection.

PROBLEM: Can't access other machines thru LAN from any machine.

-Installed all 3 as Clients on MSoft Network, unique names, same workgroup
-Enabled File/Print sharing on all 3
-Selected shared access control on all 3 on installed HDDs and printers

Still, can't find any other than the local machine, tried Find...Computer, etc.

I'm missing something...is there a common protocol I have to install...if so, what?

And how?

Do you have ZoneAlarm installed?
If yes, then open ZoneAlarm
-> go to SECURITY -> go to Advanced
and there check the box for your ethernet card

Are you logging in when you boot in to Windows? I know that's pretty simplistic, but it's the single most common reason you can see the local machine, but nothing else on the LAN.
