Yep. Go into the Cell Menu and disable Cool n Quiet and bump the CPU multiplier to 11.

Almost forgot, make sure you set your CPU VID at 1.40v (I believe that's what it is for Venice, I know it is for Winchester ;) ), as you aren't gonna be able to boot (and if it does, its gonna be VERY unstable) at 1.0v.

I did that...
in BIOS it shows up as 2.2 ghz, but in windows it shows up at 1ghz

what could be doing this?
cool n quiet is disabled, voltage appears to be 1.4V, but its 1 in windows
>_<

Update bios.

Also, install the latest A64 driver.

maybe cool & quiet is enabled. I thought it was 800, but maybe they changed it to 1000

Got the same board, had the same problem. Bios issue, everything from 1.4 on gave me this problem.
I dont know if 1.3 supports the venice. Before i figured out what was going on i fixed it using rm cpuclock utility to set the multi.
Great little prog if you want to oc and still have cool'n quiet like functionality.

Bios 1.6 fixes this problem, for me atleast. Just tried it and all is well. 1.4 and 1.5 didnt overclock well either, this one gives me the same results as 1.3.

Three people had this exact problem with venices on MSI boards. Simply flash your bios and everything will be solved.
