I am going to be purchasing a Socket A CPU to go with my new KT7A-Raid Board today, and I have three CPU choices right now and I cant seem to decide!
I am looking for the best price/performance/OCability I can get for the Price.
The CPU's all come with a KoolKast Monster Cooler.
Choice #1 is a Tbird 850 for $151
Choice #2 is a Tbird 800 for $138
Choice #3 is a Duron 750 for $90

I need to decide by 5:00 PST!!!
Help me!!!

Usually the Duron will win hands down for price/performance, but it'll depend what it is you plan on running on this system.

All 3 choices can't do you anything wrong. The only thing is, what will you be using this system for?

This will be primarily a gaming machine, DVD movies occasionally. no real multimedia editing, though I will be using Photoshop and Dreamweaver alot.
It would be nice to Hit the magical gig mark, but the reason I was considering the tbird initally is because of the cache and it seems there has been better luck with overclocking it recently.

Well if you`re going to overclock,I think the 800mhz T-bird would be the best choice overall.
