Okay... I'll be the first to admit I know little to nothing about cars, and will need some help labeling these pictures. If any of you could explain anything about any of these vehicles to me, I'd really appreciate it. Make, model, year, enhancements, whatever you recognize, etc.

Sorry if that's kinda vague, but I'm bushed... time for bed, I'll check back in the morning during work. Thank you!

BMW M3

Jaguar

A Truck

UPDATE: If you could pick any one of the three to have, which would it be?

OK, I'm not gonna go there on that M3 ;) I will say that it is a previous generation model...but I had better keep my mouth shut...

Bimmer: Aftermarket wheels, headlight covers and hood scoop

EDIT didnt see all the pics...is it even a real M3? Lots of interior electronics mods.

Jag: Looks basically factory equipped. No tag, dont drive it while drinking :) Needs to be washed.

Truck: Lots of aftermarket items: wheels, bumpers, rearview mirrors, rear roll pan. Clear turnsignals in front. Frenched taillights (probably part of the rollpan.) Shaved door handles, some kind of extensive hydraulic suspension system. Interior work on at least the seats
and a hard bed cover are a lot of the things you can see. Oops almost forgot a billet grill. :)

Looks like a E36 BMW.

Looks like you have the Jag figured out.

The truck looks like a Ford Ranger.

Pic 1: BMW M3, 1995/96 (i think). Front spoiler, modified hood (air scoop), about 1inch drop front, 1.5-2inch rear, strut brace, carbon fiber engine dressup, modified air intake, 2 10" subs, kicker amps, possible modified exhaust, clear tailights, modified headlamp assembly (mask)

Pic 2: all i know is that this is a jaguar

Pic 3: can't tell model of truck could be toyota or nissan mid late 80s or early 90s. hydraulic kit on it. aftermarket rims, ground effects kit, front grill

-edit- Ok I guess I may be wrong about pic3. Everyone seems to say its a ford. As far as pricing goes, a <Dinan?> M3 would cost what 50-60K or so? Jaguar around 60-70K, and that truck with the mods, truck would be around $20K and hydraulic and other mods maybe another 4-6K.

Okay okay, one more post. ;)

mrCide ~ would that be a bad thing? >O.O<

NFS4 ~ is that a good thing or a bad thing? :Q Sorry I'm so clueless here, guys... ack...

Sluggo ~ wow, that was very... thorough. :) Thanks! To answer your questions (as best I can), yes, it's a real M3. VERY decked out, though... it's his baby. I think he said he put $45k into it.

perry ~ hmmm, okay... thank you...

There's a picture of a nice blue Cadillac (unsure of year or model?), too, but I can't seem to find a picture of it right now. Maybe tomorrow...

Price and performance-wise, do you guys have any input?

Thank you again and good night for real this time,
~kitten >^.^<

EDIT: Thanks, frizzlefry! I'll read that again tomorrow, when the words don't blur together. :)

As for the BMW M3, it's the previous generation, like NFS4 said, based on the E36 platform (1992-1999), that originally had around 240 HP. The M3 is the fastest car of the 3 series (all based on the E36 platform). Howerver, I can see from the pics that it has been modified. I am 99% positive that it has been modifed by Dinan. Notice the red BMW batch on the front and on the back, that means Dinan. A scoop was also added. I would beleive this car has around 341 HP and 297 pound-feet of torque(that's what the 1997 BMW Dinan M3 had). I think that the mags and new light covers are also from Dinan. The stereo looks quite nice :)

For the Jaguar, it looks like an ordinary Jaguar XJS, around 262HP and 290 pound-feet of torque. I don't know if the "Anniversary Edition" came with a bigger engine though.

And the last image is a Ford Ranger, probably around '93-'98 (rough guess). Of course we can all see the super-duper low profile tires and the new mags. Whoever designed that thing should burn in hell, it's so ugly! There is a new front grill (it removed the Ford sign... hmm, it could also be a Mazda truck, they are identical to Rangers), and changed the front bumper. I don't even understand how that truck can actually ride... the seats aren't stock too... and for the engine, well there aren't enough details. It might be a 4 cylinder, a V6, or even something else.

Just my 2 cents from a bimmer fan :)

Also notice that it has Dinan written on the cold air intake pipe (so you have a Dinan Cold Air Intake system - $400). That was my first clue ;) M52 3.2L engine. The strut bar (the bar that is sitting across the engine) looks like it was made by Dinan - $400. Don't think the HP is that high though, kag. The stage 2 supercharger 'only' makes 354HP.

That Ranger looks to be a 98 or newer.. Those turn signals below the headlight didn't appear until 98, AFAIK.

Dang ole Jags. Hard to find information on them. The headlights on your picture look different than the ones in pictures that I'm finding of 85s. Can't find any sort of listing show what changed in what model years. One page showed 299HP with a three speed transmission. 5.7L V12 I think it was. HE stands for High Efficiency.

What do you mean about performance? Have they limited themselves to stuff on the outside and just made rice-mobiles, or have they also done performance mods? You can't tell a book by its cover.

btw: why do all the pages have the same title?

<< The strut bar (the bar that is sitting across the engine) looks like it was made by Dinan - $400. >>

That's perfectly true.. I also saw that right away, but I just didn't knew the name of that thing in english so I didn't talk about it :)

<< Also notice that it has Dinan written on the cold air intake pipe >>

Ouch, you got better eyes than me ;)

<< Don't think the HP is that high though, kag. >>

Well that's what SuperCars.Net gave me... so it might be or not be true.

<< That Ranger looks to be a 98 or newer.. >>

Well if it's the case, it's not newer than 2000 for sure, because the 2000 and 2001 have a more rectangular hood, not as round as the picture.

And I don't know anything about the Jag, I just looked on SuperCars.Net too hehehe

Yea, that's how much the stage 2 supercharged Dinan M3 made, but that car definitely does not have a supercharger on it. Look at www.dinanbmw.com for more info on it.

I spent a good 45 minutes looking at Jag sites and never could figure out exactly what year it was. Between a 81 and 92 is about all I can tell.

I guess you are right about the M3.. I'm no connaisseur at all about Dinan, only about stock BMW's :)

I saw it was a 85 on the top of the page, but the headlights in pictures of 85's that I found were different. They were more of a one piece design than the two seperate reflectors which is why I questioned it being a 85.

Wait!!! A ha! There it is! Tried a little different search phrase in Google and brought one up. Pic Produced from July 1981 to May 1991. 5343cc V12 engine producing 299bhp. 3speed automatic gearbox, rear wheel drive. 155MPH top speed, 0-60 in 7.0s. 16 - 20 MPG. Blatantly stolen from here.

On the third pic I too am goin with a Ford Ranger mid to late '90s. Major fiberglass work to the body and the custom grills on the front are usally called Phantom grils. A Tono Cover for the bed, and custom back bumper with intergrated tail lights. Lots of work on this one.

That truck has got to be the ugliest thing I've seen in a long time. I hope you're not considering getting it. As for the Jag, the thing is a V12 monster.

That's a 98-99 Ranger based off the hood. And I hope the back end is lifted just for pictures. (I can't imagine driving like that) If it's that low all the way around I like it

I wouldn't touch any of those vehicles with a 10ft pole. I can't believe people do this to their cars. The Jag is the closest thing to decent on there.
