My PC works fine most of the time but when i run a game or play music i get random cases of my computer rebooting in my face. I have had this problem for ages now and i cannot find a solution. I have a great concern that most of my devices are on IRQ 9 but i cannot change the settings!! My specifiations are the following:

Windows XP
AMD Athlon 1.333
256 Mb DDR
ASUS A7M266 (I flashed the latest version - 1006)
Nvidia Geforce 2 MX (I have latest detonator drivers)
VIA Chipset (Installed latest 4 in 1 drivers)
Creative SB Live!
Realtek RTL8139 NIC

On IRQ 9 i have:

Microsoft ACPI-compliant system
Video card
VIA rev 5 USB controller (x2)
network card
sound card.

I opened my PC and there is no card below the AGP card, nor any card installed in the last PCI slot.

I don't know what to do next. Can someone please help me ??

IRQ sharing is normal in XP. However, in your case it appears that it may be causing a problem.

Read the FAQ about it.

It will tell you all you need to know.

run through the faq and see if that helps you, if not try a few of the patches for via chipsets from www.usbman.com especially the filter patch, if that doesn't work, I would suspect the psu.
