Please help me identify this case...

My Girlfriend's case is missing a 3.5 drive bay cover. The only spares I have don't fit properly, so I'm trying to track down a replacement. Anyone know who makes this case or where I can find one? Thanks in advance...

Well, that's actually what used to be in there, but it quit working so we replaced it with a cdrw drive for backing up stuff. I thought about putting in a second floppy drive, but that'd just be gay. I'd really prefer to just identify the case...

That's a very common generic case sold at Fry's. Post the pic in the FS forum. I'm sure a lot of people have these cases lying around.

And if you can't find that case at Fry's, go to your local computer reseller/rebuyer and rummage thru the bins of used parts. For about 50 cents each, you could pick up serveral sizes, and only be out a couple bucks.

Maybe I should clarify...I don't need a replacement *case*, just a cover. I'm not sure if some of the people who responded caught that or not. Anyway, thanks for the replies...if anyone who lives relatively close to the Des Moines, Iowa area knows where I can get a replacement cover or has one please let me know.

I has me a desktop version of that lil baby, no spare drive plates for it, but i bought it from a place in aus www.rantronix.com.au perhaps they might be able to tell you where to get the faceplates?

Wouldnt hold my breath tho, they is your standard shonky lil corner store computer shop 🙂
