I'm sorry for this post being rather lengthy. I know the mods are really busy with the upgrade an all, but I hope one of you mods will read this! 
All right, so I'll with an apology:
I'm sorry for making a 2nd account, but I hope in my case you could make an exception. I don't mean to break the rules, but I'm in a predicament and I simply don't know what to do. As for now, I'll only post in this thread with this account. The mods can delete this account once this is solved.
Ok so my real account is Confusednewbie1552. I have somewhere around 950 posts, and have been with AT for about 3 years now. I have never been banned/given a vacation/stirred up trouble. I have only had one of my threads locked and that was because I thought Nero was a freeware application and I was asking people where I could download it As you can imagine, I have a clean record and thus a good excuse for breaking the rules by making a 2nd account.
Here's my problem: Recently the forums have been upgraded and I guess there was some problem with Firefox and cookies. I couldn't login so I deleted my cookies. Bad idea. I then realize that I don't know my password (as I never changed it since the first time I got it, and as you guys might know the default passwords are always random things like afu:f3{58. So I say to myself, no problem I'll just reset my password. I answer my secret question, and then I say to myself sh!t when it says: "You're question has been answered, an e-mail has been sent to you." Why do I say sh!t? Because when I signed up for an account all those years ago, I couldn't use my hotmail or yahoo account for some reason, which were the accounts that I regularly used, so I had to use an email address that I rarely used and have since forgot. To my shagrin (however you spell it), about an hour later I find a piece of paper where I wrote down my password, I try to log on using it and I can't log on cause my password was reset.
I can verify that I am indeed Confusednewbie1552 by telling my old password, answering my secret question, perhaps an IP check, and I guess I can answer any other information you guys need.
So here is my question/plea to the AT mods: Can you please either A: undo the reset, B: reset my password and send it to another email I have (of which I'll tell you in a PM, since I don't wanna get spam by blurting it out on here), or C: let me use this account. I'd really love option A as I get to keep my PM's, favorites, etc.
Once again, I am sorry for making a 2nd account, but I hope the Understanding Mod, can make this an exception.
I have sent a copy in a PM to a mod, just in case they look over this.
P.S. Please hurry, I do have a thread I need to update =).
