When I load some programs I keep getting an error saying that a file was not found, I press retry and it loads for another couple minutes and does it again, when it gets to 100% it keeps coming up and wont finish the install.
It happens on both of my CD Rom drives.
I tried reformating.
The CDs are not scratched, brand new.
I've never had this problem before.
Could it be a bad hard drive?

That happened to me too....on both my drives. I was trying to install MS Office2000. I eventually got it to installl when I let the program do most of it itself. I wanted it in a different directoy and a few other options (i dont remeber it was a long time ago). I left all that default and it worked.
This probably doesnt help any, just thought i'd let ya know.
