Please, help me fix this for my sister *PICS!*

I built a computer for my sister with a Win 98 OS.
She called to tell me that if it is on and the screen saver starts, then it won't come back out of it without crashing.
Any ideas?

Windows standard screen saver (flying windows, space, ect) or is it a third party screen saver? Also, do it do it for any screen saver?

Screen saver or power saver mode? I know power save mode has some issues.

If it is the screen saver, just don't use one?

The screen saver is the normal built in win98 one.

Actually, it is her daughter.

It is a driver for one piece of hardware. Just have to determine which one. Is there an old scanner or NIC in there? Try running the Power Management Troubleshooter Tool and see if it points to a specific driver.

My guess is video drivers. Set it back to Standard PCI VGA and see if the problem persists.
