I use my Kaiser as my mp3 player, and I've had horrible luck with adapters.

My first try, was one of these. It worked fine for about 3 days, then the casing on the USB connector fell off and the wires came out. Trash.

Then I bought this. I thought since it was solid I wouldn't have to worry about the casing falling apart (which was true). However, the damn thing had such a staticy connector that I had to spit in the end to make it give a clear signal. I figured it was a faulty part, so I bought two more to be safe, both of which had the same problem.

Thinking I had learned my lesson, I decided to buy a cable adapter with a more solid housing that wouldn't fall apart. I bought 2 of these, because they look more sturdy. Turns out I got the exact same adapter as the very first one I ordered. I've only used it twice so it hasn't fallen apart yet, but It's only a matter of time.

Any ideas on a STURDY adapter that won't break for at least 6 months, and will connect properly? I'm already about $40 in the hole, so price really isn't a concern

that's the one that is included with the ATT variant (HTC Fuze). it's quite bulky. does the kaiser have bluetooth? i went that route and got a bluetooth module (jabra bt3030) that has a 3.5mm jack or you could get dedicated stereo bluetooth headphones.

Yes, the kaiser has bluetooth (aka ATT Tilt), but I want to stay wired

I think I'm gonna order one of those, see how it works
