Please Help me dismantle a Presario 2500

When I boot this notebook, it doesent go further than the "press F2 to go to Setup" screen.
I tried to go to setup, but it starts to beep several times.
Before this, the notebook could boot into WIN XP, but when when you opened Word or any other program, it started to type YYYYYYYYYYY (as if the key were pressed all the time)
I thought that maybe the notebook keyboard is dirty, so I tried to dismantle it but I couldnt.
Here and Here I posted some photos and I highlighted the parts where I can´t dismantle (after I unscrewed all the screws).
Do you know how to do in order to clean the keyboard?

Thanks to all, and I hope my English to be understandable. 🙂

Your notebook is a bit newer, but when I opened my presario, two screws (accessible from the bottom) held on the plastic piece above the keyboard. Once I removed those screws, I was able to pop off that plastic piece above the keyboard. It looks like the plastic piece on your might do the same. However, on yours, it looks like the plastic piece surrounding the keyboard on the side and bottom might be holding it down too. I didn't have that. Once you get started on thing wil lead to another. One the keyboard is up you will prob have access to the cpu and video card 🙂

Of course I ended up breaking mine poking around, but not doing the part I'm telling you about. The part where the LCD plugs into the MB is very fragile...so don't mess with it ;-) That's my only advice!

I could finally dismantle the keyboard, and I tried cleaning it, but it was as clean as new, so, I tried plugging an extra keyboard, and I could boot to the OS, but the problem with the Y key continued, so I unplugged the primary keyboard and tried only with the secondary (plugged my me in thge PS/2 port), but the fact is that the problem with the Y continues, so it must be something else, not the keyboard, maybe a chip o something, that is pressing all the time the Y key.
Well.... I dont know what to do... because the Compaq Service is going to make me pay a lot of money... 🙁
