Hi everyone,
I've got a PC which now i considered dead, because no video signal, nor beep codes are present.
When I powered it on (i mean plug the cord, not the button) immediately the board starts and only the fan CPU, and the power led begin to work. there is no keyboard lights on, no hard disk signal (or spin noise).
I've tried a lot of things, take apart the PC out of the chasis with only CPU, memory, video card and keyboard connected to the board. I replace the memory stick, reset bios (remove the battery), change the PSU but still the same way.
The PC is based on a athlon XP 2400+, shyhawk nforce2 board, corsair XMS DDR, and a 64MB geforce 2.
Altough I haven't change the CPU, I'm convinced that the bad component it's the board, problably a short cicuit. Besides, the weirdest thing, as I mentioned before, is that by just pluggin the power cord in the receptacle, the board start.
Does anyone have a suggestion to me? or agree with me?
thanks in advance
