I'm running Flight Sim X with the Acceleration expansion which includes the service packs. I updated directx and various drivers. I'm running on a Core2Quad with an after-market cooler. I don't see temps rising above 40 degrees. 4 gigs of ram. ATI 4850 is up to 50 degrees. I'm running 64 bit windows Vista.
I've tried lower settings. Given the temperatures it doesn't seem to be hardware but correct me if I'm wrong. In the simulation at certain times it will just freeze and won't recover. The OS lets me switch screens and terminate the process.
Are there any logs someone can help me find that will tell me what might be happening? Thanks.
