Hi all,

Just got a new graphics card, a HD7770. I know it is not a very high range card, but since I only game at 1440 x 900 I figured I could crank up the settings in some less demanding games.

In the catalyst control center, I notice there are settings for MSAA, and SSAA, as well as options to crank up anisotropic filtering.

Which of these setting are the most beneficial with the least performance hit, and if the game will run OK should I crank everything to max in CCC or let the game manage the settings? The only games I tried are Borderlands 2 and Titan Quest. Borderands seemed to look better when I turned up the settings in CCC, but Titan Quest looked very blurry, especially text such as labels on items to pick up.

So if anyone can advise me, I would really appreciate it. BTW, my CPU is an i52320, so I would expect to be GPU limited in most games.

I prefer SSAA.It is better than MSAA but have huge performance impact. You can also use EQAA along with adaptive anti-aliasing on ati cards in conjunction with MSAA but the result may vary from game to game.AF is almost free now a days so why not use it.
