Please help me choose the best video card from this list

Thank you very much, I didn't even see the 6800 on the list. Others have recommended this one to me over the x800, so thanks again. 🙂

EDIT: another Question:

KINGSTON KVR 533MHZ DDR2 NO-ECC 2G KIT is listed as being 640 bucks

but the

KINGSTON KVR 400MHZ DDR2 NO-ECC 2G KIT is 730+ bucks

I don't understand, I would have assumed that 533 is better than 400mhz.

tighter timings most likely on the 400mhz. And cas2 mabye?

If you are into overclocking and flashing bios, get the x800vivo, if not then get the 6800gt. both are solid cards but you will get more out of the vivo if you flash it to x800 xt pe bios.

Also, i would go with the 430 watt antec psu over the generic one.

me personally if i had 1500 to spend

DFI LanParty nForce3 250GB(s754)
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ or 3200+(s754)
BFG or Gainward 6800GT
Antec NeoPower 480 PSU

now the tricky part is ram... depending on what its going to be used for; either 2gb of generic or 1gb or ram reviewed here ( http://www.anandtech.com/memory/showdoc.aspx?i=2145 ) most likely something from OCZ. you say your not overclocking so maybe 2gigs of regular old PC3200(400mhz) generic ram would be best, its about the same price as premium low timing ram, except you get twice as much memory.
