I am not new to anandtech forums but I just don?t post a lot. I am looking at get an 875 motherboard and I overclock and I want to know out of these motherboards which one of these have the best stability, has the least bug. I have been reading all of the reviews and forum post.

IC7-G or IC7 MAX 3
P4C800E Deluxe
GA-8KNXP

My setup now is 2.4b at 3.1 on an 8INXP with Corsair XMS 3200LL, ATI 9700 PRO
Danger Den Maze 3 waterblock and so on.
Ready to upgrade and play.

Any help with this decision is appreciated.

You cant go wrong with any of the boards you mention also the cheaper P4P800 (D) is very nice...as far as bugs they all have small quirks such as Asus mobos tend to overvolt..Abit's boards tend to undervolt e.g when i run at 1.6 volt thee actuall setting in my bios is 1.550 later in windows i can read AsusProbe and CPU-Z that its 1.6 :p this is not a biggie since it works stable right across

Worth to look at is the MSI 875P Neo-FIS2R board also, it has up to 3.3v for memory without volt modding :Q :D most other boards stop at around 2.85

**I would make sure that the board supports Prescott for future cpu updates check the manufactors website for that info...**

I dont know about the other boards but the P4C800E Deluxe is supposed to support the Prescott, which if you plan to keep the board a while you may want to consider.

Razzer1234, here's a link to a recent article on i875/i865PE boards and upgradability to Prescott. You can sift through some of the technical jargon and get to sections relative to mobo models and compatibility. In particular, the Asus P4C800 and P4P800 are compatible, as are all recent 875/865 Gigabytes, as well as Abit IS7/IC7 series, and MSI 875P Neo-FIS2R.
