Please help me choose 18"/19" LCD on a budget ($500)

hi guys,

I need a little help in choosing and LCD...the only thing I care about is that it's 18" or 19" and under $500...well, under $400 would be even better, but i'm willing to spend around 500 for it if need be...I don't know much about monitors, but I heard that DVI makes a difference, and since i'm going to get a 9800 Pro, then the monitor should have DVI too...other than that I play games in my free time, and since I don't know the difference responce time makes, feel free to suggest appropriate LCDs...

And just so no one suggests I get a CRT...I have a 19" AccuSync, but I have to leave that at my parents house because my new place (on campus) doesn't have enough room for it...hence the need for an LCD...

i'm no expert in LCDs but CRTs are a better choice for gaming. with that in mind, i was flipping through a circular from pcclub and i saw the following:

18" LCD model GL-1821A for 379.99 after 50 MIR
19" LCD model GL-1920B for 549.99 after 50 MIR this said "unparalled LCD gaming"
 
thanks fo rthat info...I'd love to take my CRT with me, but I just don't have any room for it on my small desk....so it's either an LCD and study space, or CRT and studying on my bed....ofcourse I can always move the CRT to the floor, but that's just un-needed excercies 😉

Any reviews for those monitors? Anyone with personal experience? I really know next to nothing when it comes to monitors...my knowledge stops at higher resolution = smaller font 😉
