Please help me burn my CD

I am trying to burn a CD and after about three minutes it says "Speed Measurement Failed". I have never had this problem before and it is really annoying. If anyone knows what I am doing wrong please help me. Thank you🙂.

Are you using a new batch of CDs?

Have you updated Nero recently (it's possible that there may be a bug in there)?

Are you trying to burn at a higher speed than the media is rated for?

Have you tried burning at lower speeds?

 
1. Yes, they are about a month old but I have burned other ones in the box before today, so it is not the C.D.'s.

2. No, I have never updated nero, where would the bug have come from?

3. No, the C.D.'s are rated at 1x - 16X and I have tried burning at 4x and 8x.

What I meant was that maybe the latest version of Nero has a bug (if you had updated it), but it is possible that some new software has changed some settings and may be causing this. Maybe you should upgrade Nero ... 😉
