Please help me build my pc

Hello Guys,
I would like to build my pc. My budget is around $700.00. I already have 17" CRT monitor. Kindly suggest me what hardware I should buy.

I am thinhking of following.
1) P4 3GHZ CPU with HT Technology
2) Intel Mother Board (Kindly suggest me model)
3) 250 GB Seagate SATA Harddrive
4) 1 GB DDR2 Ram
5) Power supply (Plz suggest me what voltage power supply I should select)
6) 256 MB PCI Express Card (Plz suggest me brand my budget is around $100)
7) Noramal Keyboard & Mouse

Wait 3 weeks for Core Duo 2 or if you are on a budget get a cheap Sempron now.

If you want Intel, the Pentium D 805 is a good option too.

edit: nm, if you're looking for an intel motherboard you probobly can't overclock.

Yeah, get an 805, Conroe Motherboard, and then drop in an E6400 when the time comes.

Dual core by far.
edit: Don't bother getting that processor, for that price look at a conroe.

For video card, you might want to look at ati's cards, they have good cards at that price range.

How did you know this is Conroe compatible?

Dude, it says "Supports Intel Core 2 Extreme / Core 2 Duo processor" at the bottom. Besides, all 965 boards will support C2D.

Will that support DDR2-533 though? I'm not paying for DDR2-800.

I'm thinking of an ASUS P5B, because I've always had extremely good luck with ASUS. That and I've got a rather old P2B-S which kicked ass back in the day, and still runs extremely well.
