I need to build my boss a system that''ll run 4 monitor for business so there won't be any overclocking.

3312 posts and you can't even pre-configure something on your own for us to judge/give suggestions

first of all what kind of budget are you on for just the computer itself, not the monitors

what is your boss going to be using this for

all information you need to put up front and not have me ask

I agree with Cinna696 in that we could use some more details. However, I completely disagree with the  way he asked.

I don't think there is a video card that can output to 4 monitors, so you'll have to go with two dual display cards. Gaming performance likely isn't an issue, so you could go with an entry level AGP or PCI Express (depending on the motherboard you pick) and a PCI video card. You could also go with two PCI Express cards.

A kind of strange way to do it would be to use the ASRock Dual939 motherboard, and put in a PCI Express and a AGP video card.

So, details we need to know: What motherboard will you be using? Are these 4 monitors going to be VGA or DVI? Will there be any gaming on this system?

Edit: I stand corrected, I guess this will drive 4 monitors. However, it is expensive and out of stock 🙂

get and motherboard with 4 pci slots and get 4 pci video cards = output to 4 displays =]
no gaming but good enoguh for corporate office work.

but seriously.. for a decent amount of money get the dfi lanparty nf4 ultra D and u can put in 2 pci Ex16 cards in there.. something in the range of 6600? or x1300?
