I have these questions which I don't understand too much, please help explain as clearly as possible as I am new to TBird overclocking.

1) In the Softmenu III setup, what does the setting CPU FSB Plus (MHz) mean and what does it do for the system's performance? There are 29 settings on this 0-28.

2) I hear about the TBird having the FSB of 200, when can you achieved this? The board max out at 155 FSB. Please explain the 200 FSB concept.

3) When I set the CPU FSB to 133, why does the PCI setting is at 44Mhz instead of the 33Mhz? Does this board has the 1/4 divider to get the PCI frequency down to 33 Mhz?

4) What does CPU Drive strength do? What setting best for performance? The manual says set it to 2 for most stability.

5) If I run the 1Ghz TBird at 9X133, can I set the RAM to run at 100Mzh? How can I do this if possible? Or does the RAM will automatically run at PC133?

6) What if I run the same 1Ghz TBird with 12X100, can I set the RAM to run at PC133 independent of the CPU FSB? How can I do this if possible?

7) Any recommendations to improve performance?

8) Any problems and what are the solotion?

Thanks.

1) The FSB plus adds from 0-28 MHz to the FSB, this also affects your other bus speeds as they all are derived from the FSB (PCI=1/3 x FSB, AGP=2/3 x FSB).
2) The Athlons use DDR (Double Data Rate), so a 100MHz FSB acts like a 200MHz FSB. A 133MHz FSB acts like a 266MHz FSB.
3) I've heard different theories on this one, most say that the benchmark software doesn't recognize the 133MHz FSB properly and misreports the PCI and AGP bus speeds.
4) Can't say on this one, I just leave mine set at 2.
5) The RAM needs to run in sync with the CPU at a minimum, it can run faster but not slower.
6) To run the RAM at a faster bus speed than the CPU FSB you change the memory speed to CPU FSB + PCI.
7) There's a site that even Abit recomends, it you look around here you should find a link for it. KT7 FAQ or something like that. If you go to Abits site and go to their FAQ site you should also be able to find the link there.
