Please help in middle of install need guidance-please quick answer :)

Hi, I am in the middle of first build.

Have ASUS a78vx-x motherboard and duron applebred processor.

I've read tons that say NO force is required.

I've dropped the processor in NO problems, and it just falls into the holes perfectly.

I go to lower the lever, and it is not lowering gently. It would require me adding force to try to lower it (past a small push).

Is this ok?

I've read AMD's site, etc. . .

So when you lower the lever is a little force needed???

on my a7n8x deluxe a little force was required. It didn't go down too lightly, but i didn't have to use full force or anything.
