I am working on a friend's PC an just did a new OS install. But, it looks like I need the drivers for the integrated video, sound and ethernet. Now, when I physically look a the MB, I see "AMP" in a few different places. How can I fogure out what model it is? Thanks...

If "AMP" is on the connectors, that just means that they used AMP connectors (they make good connectors).

Can you give us numbers off the chipset(s)?

If you can get it to POST, you can use the BIOS ID number (usually across the bottom of the screen) to identify that board. Write the number down, along with what type of BIOS it has (i.e. Award, AMI, etc.), and look for that information on Wim's BIOS Page. This is a GREAT resource for identifying MBs by their BIOS ID numbers.

Hope this helps. :)

Are you seeing AMP on the motherboard or on a connector/socket?

If on the mobo, it could be an Amptron mobo. (ECS) Cruise over to their website and see if any of those boards look familar.
