how come in the middle of games my computer restarts?

secondly when I try to run DXDIAG

my computer restarts! what is wrong with my video card?

its a pny geforce 2 mx400 64mb sdr

doesnt sound like your video card, sounds more like the rest of your system

maybe I should install the via 4 in 1 drivers for win xp?

and also when I try to change the hardware acclereation in the trouble shoot tab
the computer restarts? I only started having these problems after I broke my geforce 3
and got a mx400

you just need to format


getting rid of drivers and reinstalling new ones always seems to leave a lingering problem


its probably time for a format anyhow, just get all your stuff together and start fresh with a clean installation of windows xp


maybe someone has a way to fix this, but regardless of what anyone told me, i would just format if i was you, it gets things running smooth

If you have reformatted that often, I hate to say it, but it could be caused by a bad video card.

could I rma it directly to pny?

or should I take back to circuit city?

will they take it back ive had it for like 3 months?

More than likey you will have to send it back to PNY or possibly if you flirt with the return chick (if she's cute, more than likely not) you may get to exchange it
