PLEASE HELP: HD not giving out correct reading of Free space

Hey all,

I have a problem with my PC (running win2k). I delete, and I delete... and still it says 26mb free! I ran scandisk - didn't work. Ran norton disk doctor - didn't work. What am I supposed to do?

What do you mean, Disk Doctor "didn't work"? Crashed? Didn't fix the problem?

I wouldn't even bother with the sucky-ass Windows' Scandisk - that stuff sucks. So try NDD again.

Anyways... it was the stupid Norton file protection thing... I disabled it but yet it wasn't disabled.
Getting back 3gb of space is nice 😀
