My moms computer's cdrom doesn't support bootable cds, so i took the cdrom drive outa my cmputer to format hers... in the end when i put it back in my comptuer i forgot to switch the jumpers back to slave on teh cdrom.

So I had both a harddrive and the cdrom drive jumpered as master. The harddrive didn't have my os on it so I didn't notice for a bit, but then I go and play a mp3 and it skips like a scratched cd.. after thinkin for a few minutes i rembmer and shutdown and fix it.

Now there are some f-cked up files on the harddrive. Only 1 folder got messed up, some mp3s are missing, and there are a ton of messed files/folders. Their names have no letters or numbers just symboles and black boxes. They all say they're ~1.8gigs, when you do properties on them they're 0bytes tho. Anyways I can't delete them.

"Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk."

I can check for errors and stuff and nothing finds any problems, I figure if I get a good scandisk type program it'll find them, but I don't want to add any sh-t to my computer (nice clean install 😉)
