Hi,

You people are just about my last hope. Here is the problem

I have a fairly fresh install of Win XP Pro sp1a on my machine about one week ago MSNBC changed their site, since then myself and a couple of other people I know can't view it. All we get is the blue side and top bar with the categories, the rest of the page is completly blank/white.

Now, to make it even weirder, my daughters PC which runs same OS as I am, and is also a very recent install, can view it fine.

I have dumped everything, cache, temp files you name it. No virus (plus remember I have 2 other friends with same issue)

I/we are at our wits end on this one.

Again, both PC's are identical in their OS's and what services are running etc.

Thanks for any ideas, or help.

I keep digging too. *sigh*
 
What happens when you go directly to http://www.msnbc.msn.com/ ? Are you using a Favorite/link that might be going to the old site? I found I had to change my quicklinks on a few systems from the 'old' home page (which hasn't updated since last Friday) so I could finally see the current pages.

Strangness continues... I fixed it... Have no idea why can't explain it... I just d/ed and installed the new Cats that came out today... The 3.10's and bamn there is the site.

However, the two other people I know who are having the same problem use Nvidia cards, so they still have the problem. I will check with them tonight and see what drivers they are using.

This has been really strange... seeing as we all saw the site just fine, till the night they changed their site (msnbc) to how it is currently.

*******Ok get this. I now clicked my link again... and bamn it wont load again. **********😕

We BOTH get same result. Just the blue border and a big white blank in the middle.

PC's have all been scanned no virus, everything dumped and cleared out, firewall turned off. Nothing. 🙁

Whats even more crazy is that it came up fine when I installed the 3.10 Cats, then left the site, went back, and it didn't work again. ?!?!?!?!
