I have been trying to figure this out for a while - I have some iron/rust stains on the front of the house (on the brick) from the irrigation well, and I can't seem to get it off. I think this really makes the front of the house look crappy, but I don't know how to clean it up. I have tried Simple Green, industrial iron remover, etc...but it just doesn't work. Powerwashing doesn't help either. Any ideas?

My only idea would be to sandblast that whole side of your house. The brick has probably absorbed that discoloration, I imagine all the scrubbing in the world wouldn't make a difference.

Try a swimming pool chemical supply source in your local.

I've used a weak muriatic(sp) acid solution to take rust stains out of concrete,

it bleaches the concrete, so it may not be safe on your bricks.

You can buy it in gallons at Home Depot and reduce it with water. If you must, try it on
an area that is unseen first.

Bump.

A high pressure steam cleaner may remove it. Sandblasting would etch the brick and it might wind up looking terrible.

From the pictures it looks like the stain is mainly visible in the grout. If that's true chip the surface of it off and replace if necessary. Otherwise you can try acid or another bleaching agent or you can paint the brick, but be prepared to do the whole house if you use a solution like that.

Or MDMA. The stains will still be there but you'll love and accept them for what they are.
