Please help. Getting a new desktop.

So far I have

opertron 144 ( s939, 1.8ghz) ( is the stock hsf loud?)
300gb maxtor 16mb cache hard drive (I like maxtor)
1gig of ram ( Do I need DDR or DDR2? )
6600 gt ( Which brand is good? I dont want to spend more than 170 on this)
Antec case and p/s
Pionner dvd writer ( pretty satisfy with the one I have now)

So can someone please give me suggestions on what motherboard, type of ram, and videocard I should get? What things do I need to achieve a modest overclock (2.2ghz) ?

So, get an antec sonata II with a 450w smartpower, should work.

For ram, get 1 stick of G.Skill DDR500 ram 1 GB, so then you can add a stick later on if you want... For video card, try and get a 6800gs, it will do way better than a 6600gt AFAIK, and its sometimes in hotdeal for around $180. Get eVGA or BFG. Motherboard, if you know your settings VERY WELL, DFI Ultra-D, otherwise maybe an Epox 9NPA+ Ultra. You'd be fine achieving 2.2 GHz easy. Otherwise if you want like 2.8 GHz I might suggest something like a CoolerMaster Hyper 6+ from SVC for $27 or so.

What should I expect from the 144 opertron? Can I push this to 2.4ghz with out much cooling?
