please help find SENNHEISER HD497 (headphones)

Having searched the forums, I've found many positive things with the Sen 497's. What I can't find is somewhere to buy them in Toronto.
If shipping isn't to much, I'll buy them in the States. Did anyone order them from the US and pay shipping to get them. Can you give me some idea how much shipping costs.

Or perhaps recomend similar Sennheiser phones in price and quality that I can find in Toronto.

I'm in Vancouver and bought my HD555s new on Ebay. The price was significantly lower than what they cost in the B&M stores here even after shipping charges from the US.

have you tried thesourcecc.com ?
They have a few Sennheiser headphones in that category (yet i don't see the 497)

I was trying to show you where eventually you can find Sennheiser resellers in Canada. The site is down now, I don't know if that's temporary or not. If it comes back up you'll be able to see some Sennheiser dealers hopefully nearby. It looks like Sennheiser has discontinued the 497s since I didn't find them on their site. That may be one reason you're having a hard time finding them.
