very strange. first, the setup: 8rda+ (1st rev), 2400+ @ stock, 512MB memory, ati saphire 9000. everything pretty much stock, no ocing.
cannot, for the life of me, get the onboard lan going. i had it working before, i reformatted, installed the newest forceware platform drivers (3.13), and i still can't get online. doing an ipconfig /release /renew only says it can't connect to the dhcp server. i tried both, going through my router (i couldn't even ping it), and also a direct connection from pc to cable modem. no go. the onboard lan still lights up when it is connected, windows tells me when i've disconnected the cable, and everything else seems just fine.
the device manager reports the onboard lan just fine, no conflicts, i have it setup in the bios to auto; i am beginning to get a little frustrated. could there be a bios setting i missed? is there something i missed as far as new drivers, etc?
if the lan were just to die on me like that, would it still even be seen in the bios, be lighting up, be in windows, etc? board reports 'FF' code.
any help is appreciated. thanks in advance.
