My roomate just bought a Zenith DVC2200 DVD player (this was Deal of the Day a few days ago). Anyway, when he tries to play a movie, the screen gets bright, then dark, then bright again, and repeats like this. We've tried several different movies, they all do this (but just in the movie portion, not the menus).
I think it might be because we have a cramped dorm room, so it's crowded in with a stereo, speakers, radio, TV, etc....could that be it? Should we return it? I don't know anything about DVD players, so any help you can give would be great.
