Please help! Drive letter assignment fiasco?

OK, so I was screwing around with adding a 2nd hard drive.
I was messing around with the IDE cables and the jumper settings.

Now, a really strange thing is happening.

Windows is loading from D:/WINNT

The weird part is that the secondary drive mounts as C
and the primary drive mounts as D

When I go back to my original drive and just try to get back things to where it was before, I get to the windows log on screen. After I log on, the screen just goes blank (just the background but nothing loads) then after a minute or two I get the windows log on screen again. If I log on again, it just keeps going back to the log on screen.

Anyone have any idea what might be going on?? Please help as this is urgent.

I am running Win 2k sp4 on a p3 933 ghz dell dimension desktop.

Basically, my primary drive is booting but booting as F:

How do I get it back to C:

If I take out the 2nd drive then the above problem occurs
