Please help-Cooling Solution I Just Purchased

I just purchased an Antec VCool dual slot blower. This fan sucks air in from the outside and blows it directly on my 7800GT card. I had another option of purchasing a solution that pumped the hot air out of the case but went with this one because it was for a video card. Now I'm wondering if I bought the wrong one. Does the 7800GT fan blow inwards towards the core or blow air away from the card, and if it blows air away should I have gotten the fan that blows air out of the case? Does it even matter? I ran some idle and load tests on the card before and after I did the install and temps came down a lot. Before install-54C idle, 72C load. After install-46C, 60C Load. This was with an overclock of 486 Mhz Core and 1.17 Ghz Memory. I have since tested at 502 Mhz Core and 1.2 Ghz Memory and it runs perfect and temps only hit 62C to 63C.

Surprisingly it's not very loud at all. I can barely tell any difference. There's a switch on the back to set it at low-med-high fan speed and I have it running at high. It also has a blue LED if that gets anyone excited, but I really didn't care.
