PLEASE HELP....configuring non-plug and play devices

I have 2 isa nics that I would like to install in an old packard bell 486sx at 33mhz. I plan on using this and freesco to share my internet connection.

My question: What do I need to do to get my bios to recognize them and then how do I find out they IRQ and i/o port address.

Please treat me like an idiot..I was raised on plug and play.

You need to find the manufacturer of the NICs and use their configuration utility to make sure the NICs are not in PnP mode and then manually set the IRQs and I/O ports for the cards. I would recommend doing this with only one NIC in the computer at a time. Good luck.
