PLEASE HELP! Computer doesn't boot up, it frooze while starting up (in BIOS)

I was formatting my smart media card on my rio500 (portable MP3 player USB device) and the program crashed (my rio500 still connected to the USB). so I restarted it and it frooze on the start up screen (not Windows but the bios start up screen) and I hit reset and now it won't boot up! Please help.

I am running WinXP
Dual monitor ATI radeon and ATI Rage II
56K modem
Athlon 1000mhz (not overclocked)
Asus K7V with everything settings at factory settings

please help me

I've tried resetting like 40 times, all the lights come but the floppy doesn't boot up and the monitor says theres no signal.

strip down to a minimal configuration (mobo cpu ram) and add things in until it no longer works, if it doesn't work with minimal config, try removing the cmos battery while the computer is unplugged.
