I have a AMD 822mhz (OC) system on an ABit KT7raid motherboard. 30GB IBM HD that was partitioned into two drives, one running Win 2K and one with WinME. Used Partition Magic 6.0 3 years ago to make the partitions and Boot Magic to select them. I have not used the WinME one so I decided to delete the partition and add the space to Win2K.
I entered Partition Magic and it said something about the partition table being incorrect and that it was ok to correct it, which I let it do. I then deleted the WinME partition and increased the size of the win2k one to the full size of the disk, and had PM go through it's thing and reboot.
The computer now comes up, goes through the bios, goes to BM which offers me the selection (says partition 2 unavailable). Windows 2k starts to boot up, when halfway through I get a PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA error. Every time I reboot the same thing happens. I can get into Win2k in safe mode but I have no idea what to do.
I knew something would happen, my system has been so stable for over a year now that I knew any tinkering I would do would mess it up. Anyone have any ideas?
