Ok, here is the deal. I have had my system running for 9 months now, and the whole time I have not been able to get my burner working in windows 2k. Well, I just bought the lastest version of EZ CD creator, V5, and it still isn't working. What happens is, the software loads, but it acts like it is getting pre-empted by something. It seems as though it has a nervous tick. I can press the tools (or any button) on the toolbar to lower those options, and within a few seconds it has a little flash and they disappear. I can highlight files to drag, and they will disappear as well after a couple of seconds. It just keeps going! Even when I drag some files down and try to burn, it say's insert a CD with enough free space! I AM! It seems as though there is some sort of hardware conflict, but it works under Windows ME on another partition.
Here are my system specs.
Abit KT7-Raid
IBM Deskstar 30GB
Tbird 700
256MB cas 2 ram
ATI Radeon 32ddr
plextor 8x
pioneer 12x DVD
Need anything more? What should I do?
