Can anyone please help me find two sticks of Samsung 256MB 1066MHz RDRAM? I plan to put them into a P4T533-C motherboard. Asus recommends model MD18R1628AF1-CN9 but all I can find online are MD16R1628AF0-CN9DF (googlegear) and MR16R1624DF0-CT9 (newegg) models. A search on Pricewatch doesn't reveal anything new. Was this a type'o on the part of Asus or any of these vendors?

Thanks in advance.

So I take it that no one knows of a *commercial* site where I can buy two or even four sticks of 256MB PC-1066 RDRAM? I find this very odd. Someone please help me. I've ordered everything else and this is all I need.

Here's what I know:
* I know that the SKU or model number must end in -CN9 for it to be 1066 RDRAM.
* I also know that I need 16-bit sticks so they go in pairs which is what the P4T533-C requires.

www.buymstar.com has some house brand but I don't know anything about them. I don't even know if the model numbers match. A very risky venture if you ask me.

BTW, if someone knows the performance difference between ECC and nonECC I would like to know.

Mstar ram I have heard, isn't worth a darn, There is No Way, you will find any Samsung PC1066 32n's, they are friggin invisible. I have 2 engineering samples that I got from mushkin quite awhile back, and I have since contacted them Twice, and they can't get them either. I have also heard the newer Kingston PC1066 outperforms my Samsung, so that may be your only option. Try www.googlegear.com for the Kingston, as they usually have em in stock.

Kingston? Good to hear! Thanks Big Lar, I'll check it out. I was going to get Kinston this morning but got spooked after I saw the Asus site recommended only the 128 MB and didn't list the 256MB Kingston. I also see components direct isn't much help.

MstrCompTech: I'm sick of dealing with wanna be pros like yourself that have no clue what's going on. The double sticker does NOT come from the manufacturer. The sticker has the Components Direct logo right on it. I have contacted Samsung and discussed this with them. Components Direct is selling PC800 remarked as PC1066. Components Direct web site does not reveal the last digit of the Samsung part number which differentiates PC800 and PC1066. PC800 ends with CM8 and PC1066 ends with CM9. Their site simply lists it as CM. I ordered what I thought was (2) 512mb PC1066 sticks. I contacted Samsung and they haven't even manufactured these yet. Anyway, I returned the memory and I've been in a battle to get a refund for 30 days now.

Help, anybody else??
