I upgraded my bios to 1.9 and now when booting it says unknown flash type and when in windows my PC Alert program starts beeping with the 12v section flashing red reading 2.5v.

I tried my bios recovery disk that it promted me to make before the flash and also tried the flash utility but it wont erase the flash block with either, so can't recover..

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Much appreciated

Sorted 🙂

My board didn't like the 1.9 bios for some reason, so i used the 1B bios, i acheived the flash like this as the recovery disk or winflash wouldn't work.

I had to create a bootable floppy, renamed my bios files to to bios.bin and awdflash.exe and copied them to the floppy.

Then rebooted and used this command line - awdflash bios.bin /py /sn /wb /e /f

Hopefully that will help someone else
