 Workgroup consists of 6 workstations that are a combination of Windows 98, windows me and windows 2000 professional. The boss wants the ability to backup and take the media offsite so a RAID or 2nd HD solution is out. There is about 4 gig of data. I want to be able to have a software solution that will automatically backup MSWord, Excell and Outlook files.
I am considering Dantz Retrospect for workgroups but it seems they don't support SCSI tape drives. I like that it costs under $300.
A DDS-3 drive would be fast, is a standard and would give us room to grow but i can't find one that works with Retrospect. Veritas Backup Exec looks like overkill for such a small office
The total solution should be around $1,000.
Any suggestions?

Thanks a million!

There's also the possibility of a DVD+RW drive, they hold about 4.5gb per side. But that'd require spanning disks if the data got larger then the size limit, which is probably more then you want to do.

There's the ORB drives as well, but the max size you can get is 5.7gb.
