Hi, I think I am a bit confused on PSU's and motherboards. I currently own this mobo:

http://www.newegg.com/app/View...tion=13-121-230&depa=1

and I got this PSU to go with it:

http://www.newegg.com/app/view...=23&manufactory=BROWSE

But I'm trying to build the computer and the slot for the POWER on the mobo is a 2x12 and the connector with the PSU is a 2x10, I thought they were both ATX, so it should work, does it matter that I am missing those 4 extra slots?? I hope this made sense, and thanks to anyone who can help me out.

The standard recently changed. nforce3 and 8xx and before intel mobos used 20 pins, but with nforce4 and lga775 came the new 24 pin standard. Supposedly you can just plug the 20 pin into the 24 pin connector, but there are also adapters out there that turn 20 pin into 24 pin. I'd recommend one of those. That supply is pleanty powerful and should work fine with an adaptor.
