Please help. Abit Vp6 's Floppy won't boot :(

Hi guys, I must be stupid.
I am trying to set up my VP6.

First I need to get my Floppy to work so I can install Win2k.

My floppy just won't work. The LED will stay on.... and I can't boot the disk off the floppy drive. I tried 2 FDDs, same problem. I haven't try another cable yet because I only got 1 that will fit the Vp6's pins.

Please help me

usually when the floopy light stays on it means that u've installed the ribbon backwards...try switching the ribbon around and see if that works for ya
