Please help a PSP n00b: how do I rip my UMD's to MS DUO?

Just got a 1gig MS Duo and want to put it to a good use. I've heard that it's possible to rip a UMD to Duo which should increase battery life and load times considerably. I have googled and found many sites dedicated to PSP but nowhere can I find a complete guide to ripping UMD's to MS.

Can anyone help?
