2.8E @ 3GHz. It's a first gen Prescott and so of course it's hot as hell and spikes to 50C+ load so I don't want to go any higher.

I'm gonna be selling my last P4 (Prescott) this week. Am running a socket 478 mobile Celeron (AKA, Celeron-K) 1.6GHz overclocked to 2.96GHz on an Albatron PX845PEV Pro motherboard (with one bulging capacitor even). To heck with those Prescott chips (I already live in Hell, so they have to settle with going to heck). I've gone through about six Prescotts. Only one I liked was the Deleron 320 overclocked.

My previous CPU was a 2.4C and I had it as high as 3.0 in an Asus P4P800
I think my my memory (2x512 Kingston ValueRAM PC3200) was keeping me down because towards the end I kept getting random reboots and I coudln't get it stable past 3.1

3.0E @ 3.4 in a shuttle SB75S using stock shuttle cooling, it's the C0 so it runs a tad hot

2.4C northwood @ 3.2 (267 FSB). Ram 5:4 running at 213, when running 1:1 ram was fine up until 220. Getting 50c idle & 60c on load, at default 2.4 ghz I get 40c idle & 54c load. Thinking about putting a 6800gt in here (right now i have 9800pro). Hopefully, the cpu won't be too much of a bottleneck for 6800gt. In my other rig I have athlon64 3200 @ 2.6 ghz, and an X800XL. The AMD64 idles at 34c & load temp is only 45c, much cooler than the P4.
