Well after a year with this rig it is getting too slow for what I do. So I ask of you to please rate this new rig I'm buying off newegg.com:

BLACK CHIEFTEC Server Chasis Workstation Tower DX-01BD
WD WESTERN DIGITAL "SPECIAL EDITION" 80GB 7200RPM EIDE HARD DRIVE
2x SAMSUNG (Original, made by Samsung) 256MB DDR RAM PC2100 6 layers CL2.5
Asus Motherboard for AMD Athlon/XP/Duron Processors, Model# A7N8X Deluxe
AMD Athlon XP 1700+ Thoroughbred /266 FSB Processor CPU 1700+/ 1.47GHz
ATI RADEON 9000 PRO 64MB RETAIL
TDK 24x10x40x CD-RW Drive
Lite-On 16x DVD-ROM Drive

It should be prety stable and plenty fast for Unreal Tournament 2003 right? I was thinking of going with the Abit AT7-MAX2, should I switch boards???

Damn are these posts always this common in this forum? :)

To answer the question: yes, it will run UT2K3 just fine. But not fine and dandy, oh no. For that you'd need a better 3d card. The various other electronic/mechanical/electromechanical paraphernalia looks hunkydory. Except the WD hdd. I dont like em. Get a Maxtor, or better yet a Seagate.

Will probably be stable, but dunno about "plenty fast." It really depends on each individual though as to what is really fast enough. I have a GF4 Ti4400 coupled with the same processor. I play at most settings either set at normal or high at 1024x768. However, another person may feel that playing at a higher res or higher settings still feel "smooth." I guess I'm just really picky when it comes to fps's like ut2k3. So... your rig should run ut2k3 fine, but don't expect to be able to crank everything up (maybe unless you'll be playing a lot of deathball :) ).

Also, make sure you have a look at various tweaks on the net. It will help a lot. Good luck. ;)
